SORRY ITS SIDEWAYS! A Cardinal crashed into my window and I had to save it from the BIG excitable dogs. Fell in love with the little fella. Thought it was super cool to hold a wild birdie.

I have to keep my blinds closed, otherwise a cardinal will repeatedly fly into my window. I thought it was funny, till he started doing it early in the morning waking me up.
I have seen him doing it to neighbors windows too.
What gives?
This crazy bird kept banging into my office window. No doubt she was about to nest, saw her reflection, thought it was another bird. These are her futile attempts to protect her territory. Enjoy the noises she makes. PS – this video original had a great music sound track, but had to be removed because of WMA.
I recently bought my first bird feeder. The man I bought it from advised me on what types of seed to buy. I remember him saying that cardinals especially like those black sunflower seeds. We have cardinals here and I like seeing them outside my kitchen windows, so I bought a big bag of black sunflower seeds and put them in the bird feeder. I haven’t seen any birds use my feeder until today. I saw a few brown sparrows (I think) fly up to the feeder and then fly off, but I haven’t seen any birds since. I would have thought they’d have spread the word about a new feeder in town! Now I’m wondering if they don’t like those black sunflower seeds. Did I misunderstand the guy? Did he mean they will only attract cardinals? Thanks!
He was hopping around on the ground in my yard and didn’t seem to want to fly and his breathing seems a little difficult. I have fed him for around 5 years so I know he is at least that old. I have him in a dog carrier but don’t know what to do next. Would love some advice. Thanks.
I live in the complex, and the neighbour kids run around through everyones backyard (they are around five years old). I saw them pushing a hulahoop up in a tree and went outside to see what happended. They knocked out a nest, and two baby birds, the mom northern red Cardinal was sitting on the bench squaking but the nest was knocked over, and they squished one of the baby birds. There is still one alive, and i took it inside. I’ve fed it wet cat food in a syringe and it took it willingly. It’s staying warm and it’s moving around. Does anyone have any tips that I can do to keep it alive? Please don’t say put it back outside, the nest is completley destroyed and there are alot of cats. The baby bird has little fluffies all over it but no feathers, but it is moving around and opening his eyes a bit.
Alright, the baby bird is eating the cat food i’m feed it willingly, I’m feeding it every 30 mintues, because I read it has a very high metabolism, It’s doing great and is moving around, eyes are almost open. I think I can take care of it until it’s old enough to fly. I have 2 budgies, and 2 cockatiels, so i do have some experience with birds.
I was sitting in the waiting room at a clinic and saw a cardinal fly by along with a blue bird, I started wondering I guess… Could they mate???
He’s cheeping strongly and kicking both his legs but when he manages to get anywhere near upright, he ends up back on his back. What could be wrong with him and how can we help him. Even birds with a broken wing, I’ve seen upright and unable to fly but not on their backs
Here’s a hard one for you…
I took a trip to Florida on a plane (from Wisconsin) and when I got there, I walked into a bank. I was asking the banker about a loan. Then, I looked out the window to see a beautiful red cardinal bird perched on something and peeking his head into a pipe of some sort. Then, two really HUGE cardinals started attacking the normal sized cardinal and got his beak locked into between theirs and they flew away with him still trapped. I got the sense that the two big cardinals were going to fly away and kill the normal sized cardinal.
What does this dream mean?
